My name is Christine Pierce, and I am a 4th grade teacher and mixed media doll artist! Making quilts is another one of my passions! I have been teaching both general education and art for over 20 years. The idea for the Bakersfield Art Odyssey came to me after many friends and family expressed an interest in my projects. I like to explore a variety of mediums and am always trying out new ideas. I am inspired by my students, nature, and the artwork of other creative souls.
